- Ex Bristol Christian Fellowship -

Breaking the Chains of Authoritarian Religion

BCF started in the mid-'70s as two small house groups who met in Olveston and Thornbury.  It gradually expanded and during a peak in the '80s, new buildings were bought and there were over a thousand members.  It also had its own school: Oak Hill,

Many children were born into the Fellowship and, now reaching adulthood, may be trying to make sense of the unusual things they experienced there,  This website provides information for 2nd generation ex-BCFers who are trying to get their head around their unusual "spiritual" experiences.  It also provides information to adults who have left the New Religious Movement feeling cheated or abused.

If you are ex-BCF and ex-Charismatic, please feel welcome to post in our forums and let us know your thoughts.
